А сейчас это везде так. Сейчас стала важна не прибыль, а общие обороты.
Всю прибыль все корпорации пускают на R&D и прочие псевдопотребности, под кои также и кредиты набирают.

Свои Delta (or Tesla or whatever Mazda) Financial они открывают, чтоб была банковская возможность в 10 раз больше себе и своим клиентам долгов раздавать, чем на самом деле у них есть денег.

Вот и получается, что все эти XXX Financial хоть какую-то, но таки приносят прибыль

Ладно, там Косто делает 80% прибыли на годовом мебмершипе, народ туда ходит затариваться жрачкой и прочим. А вот всякие кредитки от авиалиний лежат мертвым грузом, может раз два в год слетать в отпуск, а годовые фии платятся стабильно. Получается что за клиентом авиалиниям гонятся смысла мало. Оттуда и летать одинаково отвратительно любыми.

я тут решила от одной карточки непользуемой отказаться, они вместо отменить предыдущую настойчиво вручили просто другую совершенно бесплатную. Ну раз бесплатно, то пусть лежит.

отмазывают пилотов Blackhawk в крушении 29 января. Мол, приборы им показывали не ту высоту. Но представитель компании Сикорски на голубом глазу сказал, что приборы исправные, просто когда винт вертолета крутится, они показывают не ту высоту (а? приборы в вертолете работают только с неработающим винтом?!) . В общем, будет рекомендация Сикорскому "подправить" модель блекхока...

Both of the planes were taxiing at the time of the crash, which occurred on Wednesday night.

Footage shows at least one wing on one of the planes had detached as a result of the collision.

Reports suggest at least one person has been injured during the incident.

An Airbus A380 from Australia to South Africa took passengers on a 9-hour flight to nowhere after a satellite issue

Qantas passengers faced a flight to nowhere after a tech issue appeared to prevent their double-decker jet from continuing its journey.

Tuesday's Flight 63 took off from Sydney shortly after 10 a.m. and was supposed to arrive in Johannesburg about 14 hours later.
All appeared to be going smoothly until nearly five hours into the journey, when the Airbus A380 turned around over the ocean, per Flightradar24 data.
It headed back to Australia and touched down in Sydney about nine hours after taking off from there.
A spokesperson for Qantas told Australian outlet News.com.au that the "fault was with the satellite communications," which are necessary for travelling over large bodies of water.

A U.S. Air Force plane carrying Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth made an emergency landing Oct. 15 while the Pentagon chief was traveling in Europe, U.S. officials said.

Hegseth was traveling back from the NATO Defense Ministerial in Brussels en route to Joint Base Andrews, Md., when the windshield cracked, Hegseth’s spokesman said. The plane landed safely, and the Defense Secretary was unharmed.

The episode happened over the Atlantic and south of Ireland when the C-32A—a militarized Boeing 757 flown by the 89th Airlift Wing—declared an emergency. It descended to 10,000 feet, and diverted to RAF Mildenhall in England, according to open source flight tracking data. The aircraft, tail 98-0002, is one of the Air Force’s oldest C-32s.

“On the way back to the United States from NATO’s Defense Ministers meeting, Secretary of War Hegseth’s plane made an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom due to a crack in the aircraft windshield,” Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement provided to Air & Space Forces Magazine, referring to Hegseth’s secondary title authorized by the Trump administration. “The plane landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe.”
